Insurance

We accept and bill most insurance companies, including but not limited to Blue Cross/Blue Shield. We will file claims to your insurance provider. Regardless whether or not your insurance pays, the client is ultimately responsible for cost of their therapy.

Please ask your insurance company the following:

  • Does my insurance cover individual therapy?
  • How many sessions per year are covered?
  • Does my insurance cover family therapy ?
  • Does my insurance pay for group therapy ?
  • What is my co pay?
  • What is my yearly deductible and how much has been met?
  • Does my insurance company require pre-authorization prior to the first visit?

For Tri-West/United Health Care does not require preauthorization for nonactive military beneficiaries.

We CANNOT bill Medicaid or Denali Kid Care. Their requirements demand a doctor or psychiatrist on staff. Please contact your insurance provider to inquire about specific coverage of your plan. Most insurance companies do not cover marriage counseling, but some do cover family sessions. Our billing service is also happy to assist you with questions regarding your coverage.
