Our Rates

Initial Intake Interview, 50-90 minutes $380
Individual Sessions, 30-50 minutes $185
Individual Sessions, 50-70 minutes $260
Anger/Domestic Violence Assessments $450

 

Payment

We can take personal checks, cash, or credit card. Clients can make a payment in person, or by calling with credit card, or online. If you have a question about your balance, please call 907.457.6002.

Online Payment

Pay online with PayPal or a major credit card. You do not need to have a PayPal account. After clicking on the PayPal button at right, insert your payment amount and choose either to log into your PayPal account above or to pay with a credit card below. You will be asked to enter the amount you want to pay during the checkout process. You do not need to have a PayPal account. Pay by Check

Mail checks to 122 Tenth Avenue, Fairbanks, Alaska 99701. Make your check payable to Clearwater Counseling.

Insurance

We accept and bill most insurance companies, including but not limited to Blue Cross/Blue Shield. We will file claims to your insurance provider. Regardless whether or not your insurance pays, the client is ultimately responsible for the cost of their therapy.

To understand your coverage, you can call and ask your insurer the following:

  • Does my insurance cover individual, family, or group outpatient mental health therapy?
  • How many sessions per year are covered?
  • What is my co-pay?
  • What is my yearly deductible and how much has been met?
  • Does my insurance company require pre-authorization prior to the first visit?

If you have Tri-Care, they do not require preauthorization for nonactive duty military beneficiaries and dependents.

We CANNOT bill Medicaid or Denali Kid Care. Their requirements demand a doctor or psychiatrist on staff. Please contact your insurance provider to inquire about specific coverage of your plan. We are happy to assist you with questions regarding your coverage.
